SHRM 2026 Executive Team Installation

Last week, SHRM Bahamas officially installed its 2026 Executive Board, launching a new chapter anchored in our theme SYNERGY.

We were honoured by special remarks from Director of Labour, Howard Thompson along with Paula Humber, MBA,SHRM-SCP, Members and Communities Director of SHRM, and an inspiring keynote from Glennett Fowler. The installation ceremony was led by Immediate Past President Lashanta Smith, MSc HRM, SHRM-SCP, with Cherrylee Pinder bringing exceptional energy and engagement as the event’s moderator.

During the evening, Madam President, Denise Knowles, proudly unveiled the value proposition of SHRM Bahamas, reinforcing who we are, the role we play and our commitment to the HR profession.

This moment marked more than a transition in leadership; it set a clear direction for the year ahead; focused on impact, partnership, and advancing the HR profession together.
